Washington, DC

Since arriving for school in 2009, Washington, DC has been our de facto home. After graduation we hopped among a few apartments before heading overseas again from 2012-2014. We bought a place and really began putting down roots, fully aware of the potential departures and returns ahead of us given our respective career choices.

We did our best to be at home here. The pictures in this collection show we've done a good job. At least we think so. The city has been good to us. We have a vast network of family and friends here. Despite our love for the places that shaped us, "Washington, DC" is the answer we'll give when people ask us where we're from.
