Before we close out 2015, I want to share the latest installment of the mixtape series. The title was inspired by our Thanksgiving visit to Ray Ray’s home state of Idaho and a celebratory moment when we found, you guessed it, a missing button.
The compilation has a few tracks related to specific moments from this year. We took in a live show back in February wherein the performer pulled off an impressive Sam Cook cover. We’ve become big fans of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, hence the theme song. And if you haven’t seen the movie, “Robot and Frank,” do yourself a favor and check it out. (The last track is what plays during the credits.) Oh, and we’re a little bummed, “Welcome to My House,” was not around during our wedding. It would have been a welcome addition on the dance floor. Alas.
Hope this spices up your holidays a bit. Let these tunes carry you into 2016 smiling.
