Mixtape: 30 for 30

To kick off my wife’s next trip around the sun, the annual birthday mixtape. 30-For-30 is the title this year and I’ve chosen one top-100 song from each year of her life. That’s right, music lovers: we start back in the mid-80s and take you for a stroll down amnesia lane. This one was harder than I thought it’d be. Needed a deft balance of actual good songs that represent the era well, something Ray Ray is going to like, mixed with a bit of “this is what I remembers about this year.”

This year's mixtape artwork. On location in Central Park.

Note: There are actually 31 tracks on this one. The last song is a nod to Ray Ray’s birthday surprise.

For those interested in keeping track, we begin by setting the Way Back Machine to 1986. As always, you can find this playlist on our Spotify station.
